Before We Started

The driveway was a mess, weeds creeping through cracks, old concrete breaking apart, patches of mud where grass used to be.
Every time the homeowners pulled up, they were reminded of the job that needed doing. The space that drags down the whole front of a home.

They wanted to fix it properly this time. Something clean, modern, and solid, with a layout that actually made sense and stayed looking sharp for years.

The Plan

We stripped the design back to the essentials. Strong materials, clean geometry, and low-maintenance edges.
The old drive had good bones, but it was cluttered and uneven. So we mapped out a new layout that would make the space feel open and balanced.

We decided on grey 900×600 Indian stone for the main area. Durable, timeless, and sleek without looking sterile.
The goal wasn’t just to “lay slabs”, it was to completely change the way the home felt when you arrived.

The Work

We started by ripping up everything that was holding the space back. The cracked concrete, the tangled weeds, the uneven ground that had been gathering puddles for years.
Once it was cleared, levelled, and prepped, the new shape of the driveway started to emerge.

The weather? Classic Cheshire, grey skies, damp air, miserable light. But the work doesn’t wait for sunshine.
Slab by slab, we set the foundation. Each Indian stone tile was laid with precision, clean lines and perfect symmetry, every joint crisp and tight.

We extended the driveway too, opening it up and giving the whole property more breathing room, more space to park, more balance to the frontage.

By the end of the week, that overgrown patch of frustration had turned into a modern, welcoming entrance that completely changed the home’s first impression.
Strong. Clean. Built to last.

The Result

Now, when you pull up to that house, it feels different.
The turf edges are fresh, the stone catches the light just right, and everything about the space feels finished.
No more mess, no more weeds, just a proper driveway that looks like it belongs on a home people care about.

It’s the kind of upgrade you notice straight away, even from the road.
