Autumn is here and I managed to escape from work to go on a Resin Bound driveway installation course. The basics of the product is that it uses special polymer adhesives to glue together the aggregates and to bond it to the base layer of driveway .The main advantages are that there are no loose chip pings, it has a very long life span and can be laid over tired existing surfaces.The finish is UV stable, not affected by oil or fuel spillage and is SUDS compliant.Also its flexibility enables it to resist cracking. Theres a huge choice of aggregates available, which can be blended together to produce a particular shade or tone. Overall i was quiet impressed and could see where its tech advantages would persuade customers to use it as s fresh alternative to tar mac !
